Background

“I spent most of my life on the East Coast before deciding to pursue the California dream. I completed my undergraduate and medical school at Boston University and then moved to New York for my residency and then to Detroit for a fellowship in cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery. I then moved to Virginia Beach where one cold, winter day it dawned on me that I had been through too many snowstorms and it was time to move to a warmer area. I moved to Fresno with my lovely wife and three children and we have never looked back since.

I have performed thousands of cataract surgeries and specialize in multifocal lenses as well as astigmatism correcting procedures such as toric lenses and limbal relaxing incision (LRIs). I also specialize in all forms of corneal surgery and perform excisions of complex pterygia as well as minor plastics procedures including blepharoplasties and eyelid repair.”

Roles and Responsibilities

“I take pride in taking the time to understand my patients and thoroughly explain each diagnosis and treatment option. I feel that my job is not done until my patients have a clear understanding of their condition and have enough information to make a clear decision about their treatment.”
